Overview
The Institute of Professional Studies Directorate (IPS) of the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA), wishes to inform prospective applicants and the general public that Application Forms for Admission to Professional Programmes for the Academic Year are now on sale.
Application is also extended to past students of UPSA who intend to enrol on any of the professional programmes to take advantage of our Progressive Pathway Professional Programme (PPPP). The PPPP grants some fee subsidies to past UPSA students.
In the course of the application process, applicants are strongly reminded to refuse any person or persons that approach them in the pretext of assisting them to them gain admission into the Institute for a fee. The admission process of IPS is transparent.
It is the responsibility of all applicants to ensure that their online applications are correctly filled and submitted.
PROGRAMME PROFILE
The University of Professional Studies, Accra is accredited to offer tuition in six (6) professional programmes, namely; Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana (ICAG), Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA), Chartered Institute of Management Accountant (CIMA), Chartered Institute of Bankers (CIB), Ghana, Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), UK. and Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA), UK.
The University runs the professional programme on a semester basis and tuition is held on regular days (Mondays to Fridays), Evenings and Weekends. The Chartered Institute of Marketing is run on weekends starting on Friday evening through to Sunday. The other five (5) programmes are run on regular basis from Mondays to Fridays.
