Philosophy of the Programme
The MBA Marketing programme is designed to meet both academic and professional needs of managers in any sector of the economy who want to attain excellence in operating in the business environment. Using an interdisciplinary approach to the management of organisations, the programme helps students appreciate and effectively utilise marketing tools to support the effective functioning of organisations.
Programme Objectives
- Equip students with the essential knowledge and skills involved in the practice of marketing in local and international organizations.
- Ensure that students are adequately equipped to create a marketing-led organization.
- Produce Marketers who would be responsible for their own continued self-development in marketing.

- Formulate marketing strategies to achieve organizational objectives
- Demonstrate the skills to select appropriate marketing tools for strategic marketing decisions

Profile of Coordinator
Dr. Mrs. Linda Narh, a Chartered Marketer, is a senior lecturer at UPSA’s Faculty of Management Studies and a consultant. She earned her degree from KNUST, a postgraduate diploma from the UK Chartered Institute of Marketing, an MBA from Liverpool, and a PhD from the University of Ghana. With extensive experience in training, corporate branding, marketing, and communications, she also consults in the telecom, fintech, advertising, and media sectors. Her background includes work in advertising, media, telecom, and finance, and she has earned awards from CIMG and GITTA. Currently, she teaches marketing management and corporate communications at UPSA and coordinates various master’s and MBA programs. She is also a consultant and corporate trainer.
