About the Programme

The MA in Natural Resources and Climate Change Law is designed to equip graduates with a deep understanding of the legal frameworks and political economy governing global natural resources and climate change. The programme focuses on the complex relationships between environmental regulation, natural resource management, and climate change mitigation efforts with particular emphasis on the Ghanaian context. It addresses critical knowledge gaps by exploring issues such as climate change, natural resource extraction, and the political economy, highlighting the pivotal role of law in promoting sustainable development and environmental protection in Ghana. The programme is tailored to meet the needs of non-LLB degree holders, as well as academics, professionals in the public and private sectors, and non-governmental organisations.
