About the Programme:
Applications are invited from suitably qualified applicants for submission to the University’s 4–year Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Public Policy and Leadership for the 2025/2026 Academic Year.

Minimum Qualifications for Admission:
- A Master’s degree by research in any discipline, with a minimum CGPA of 3.0 from a recognized university/institution accredited by the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC).
- A Master’s degree by coursework in any discipline, with a minimum CGPA of 0, may be considered for admission on a case-by-case basis.
Additional requirement for Admissions:
- Must pass a selection interview
Attachment of supporting documents:
i. Full completion of an admission application form;
ii. Copies of certified academic certificates and transcripts
iii. Two (2) recommendation letters on the applicant’s ability to undertake doctoral studies;
iv. Personal statement on motivation to pursue the degree programme;
v. Research proposal (3 – 5) pages on any topic related to the doctorate programme;
vi. Curriculum vitae (CV) and
vii. Copy of birth certificate or any national ID
NB: Applicants with degrees from foreign universities are required to have their academic qualifications certified by GTEC prior to their offer of admission.
