Programme Philosophy
This programme is designed to provide you with a solid understanding of information systems as a sociotechnical phenomenon, focusing on the impact of digital technologies on innovation, society, and the law.
The programme aims to develop specialists in the field of Information Systems who possess a deep understanding of both theoretical concepts and practical applications.
In addition, the curriculum is designed to provide students with the necessary research abilities to make valuable contributions to the field by conducting their own unique, significant, and independent research projects.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Local Applicants
• A first degree in information systems, information technology, computer science, computer engineering, information studies, or information science from an accredited university or institution, with at least a second-class lower division.
• For purposes of assessing an applicant’s eligibility, applicants are required to prepare a research proposal, and attend, and pass an interview.
International Applicants
• International applicants may be admitted based on qualifications from their home country institutions for which equivalence shall be determined by the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC) and submitted to the University.
• Evidence of proficiency in English Language will be required from students from non-English speaking countries.
