About the Programme
The BSc Agribusiness and finance programme aims to develop a cadre of highly skilled professionals capable of handling the varied challenges of agribusiness management in Ghana. The programme seeks to provide professionals with the skills needed to manage agribusiness institutions, create novel management models for agro-industry and its allied institutions, and conduct cutting-edge research into agribusiness and agro-finance. The programme will promote an entrepreneurial and competent culture by providing individuals with the knowledge and skills needed to generate long-term growth, and value chain development, and to educate stakeholders on emerging agribusiness models.
Entry Requirements
To access this programme, an applicant must possess the following qualifications;
West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) and Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSSCE),
WASSCE and SSSCE applicants must have at least credit passes (i.e. grade A1-C6 and grade A-D respectively) in three core subjects including English Language, Mathematics, and Integrated Science in addition to any three elective subjects with an aggregate score of 24 or better.
Admission Requirements – International Applicants
International Applicants may be admitted based on qualifications from their home countries for which equivalence shall be determined by the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC) of Ghana and submitted to the University. Evidence of proficiency in the English Language will be required in the case of applicants from non-English speaking countries.
